When it comes to destroying office productivity,
there's nothing worse than having your laser or inkjet printer not function
properly. And who better to entrust with the care of this critical office machine,
than a firm who has devoted itself exclusively to the repair, service and maintenance
of printers and their toner cartridges.
Since 1989, Five Point Data Systems has been
helping customers throughout the nation avoid problems with their laser &
inkjet printers and keep their costs down by supplying high quality compatible
toner cartridges. We carry a complete line of Hewlett Packard as well as Lexmark,
IBM, Xerox, Tektronics and other popular brands of compatible toner cartridges
for office and home laser jet and fax machines.
We know these printers and cartridges inside
and out. Not only can our team of certified service technicians fix a malfunctioning
printer of any brand; we can prevent breakdowns with regular maintenance calls.
Started out of a basement shop, Five Point
Data Systems has developed into a 12-person operation working from a 4,000 square
foot facility in Perkasie. With state of the art dust collection and cleaning
equipment, our authorized HP/Lexmark repair facility can offer responsive onsite
and depot service. Our “Always available attitude” has helped Five
Point Data to partner with many regional and national businesses, providing
services, which enhance office productivity. After more than a year, the graphic
design and production details of our new packaging has been finalized. The striking
package truly reflects the quality of product inside. The new ACCU-print™
packaging consists of ASTM Certified Compatible toners
Each year approximately 43 million cartridges are used in the United States,
creating more than 26,000 tons of solid waste in our landfills. The process
of remanufacturing allows the toner cartridge to be used again at a fraction
of the original cost, preventing a non-biodegradable compound of hazardous waste
out of our ever shrinking regional waste facilities.
Over the last ten years, the perception of
using a recycled or remanufactured product has become excepted as an effective
means to cut cost while ensuring original equipment quality. The industry now
has representation at the Federal level, which has mandated many states to enact
policies to encourage the use of remanufactured products. Also, anti trust legislation
has been established forbidding manufactures to void equipment warrantees due
to the use of after market products. Five Point Data Systems was instrumental
in the development and organization of the Northeast Cartridge Remanufacturer’s
Association, one of the first technical associations developed for our industry.
We continued to sit on the board of the association for many years and our technical
staff performed many seminars on the ”how to’s” of various
new printers that have been introduced to the industry. The organization has
since grown into being a part of the national association know as I.ITC (International
Imaging Technology Council.
Five Point not only keeps abreast of the industry
that we specialize in, but also is very instrumental in the community where
we are located. Many organizations that have benefited from our generosity and
support are the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce, The Main Street Theatre, Richland
Township Community Day, Quakertown Alive, the renovation of the Red Lion Inn
as well as gathering empty toner cartridges from the community and businesses,
donating money for these empties to various elementary schools to purchase computer
equipment for classrooms. We are part of the Engineering Technology Advisory
Committee for the Upper Bucks Vocational Technical School so that we can keep
the curriculum current for new students.
